Krug x Single Ingredient 2024

A visual record of the joint work of Krug and BOTANIQ Turai Castle.

We were deeply honored to be part of the 2024 project following the 2023 KRUG Single Ingredient collaboration, where our task was to visually document the joint efforts of Krug and BOTANIQ Turai Castle. 

Our team designed and produced the Hungarian-themed images featured in the limited edition Krug book. During the content creation process, the focus was on the artistic representation of the dishes, the authentic portrayal of the chefs’ personalities, and capturing the most intriguing moments of the food preparation. Our goal was to authentically reflect the creative process and the gastronomic experience offered by the menu inspired by Krug champagnes and flowers.

Hungary’s and the region’s first official Krug Ambassade, BOTANIQ Turai Castle, joined the ranks of the world’s most exclusive restaurants recognized by the Krug Champagne House in 2023. By doing so, BOTANIQ became part of a global network of nearly 150 distinguished locations. Ambassades are establishments that work closely with the prestigious Krug House to provide their refined guests with unique culinary experiences, incorporating the exceptional world of champagnes into gastronomy.

Each year, the Krug House selects a single ingredient to inspire chefs in creating inventive culinary masterpieces. In 2024, the delicate elegance and diversity of flowers became the focus, serving as the theme of the year. The chef of BOTANIQ Turai Castle crafted a unique menu around this ingredient, offering guests a special gastronomic journey paired with Krug champagnes.

According to Julie Cavil, one of the leading cellar masters at Krug Champagne, flowers symbolize diversity through their brilliance and fragrance. They open up new possibilities not only aesthetically but also from a culinary perspective, offering a broad spectrum of flavors and aromas for chefs to explore. Recipes and images of dishes creatively utilizing flowers can be found in the cookbook titled “All for One and One Flor-all,” a collaboration between the Krug House and the world’s most outstanding chefs.

The images of the Hungarian Ambassade featured in the limited edition Krug book “All for One and One Flor-all” were conceptualized, designed, and produced by our team. During the photoshoot, the artistic presentation of the dishes, the portraits of the chefs, and the most significant moments of the food preparation process took center stage. We placed special emphasis on authentically capturing the essence of the project, the value and significance of the key ingredient in Hungary, the creative process, and the gastronomic journey offered by the dishes inspired by Krug champagnes and flowers.
